Time & Location 22 May 2027, 09:30 – 16:00 Liss Triangle Centre, Mill Rd, Liss GU33 7DX, UK About Jill graduated from the University of the Arts London in 2009 with an MA in Drawing. In 2018 she left her job as Head of Adult Learning for Merton to become a full-time artist. She now lives and has her studio in Headley, Hampshire. Jill has exhibited widely in both commercial and public galleries and her work is held in many private collections. In 2019 a painting was purchased for the National Football Museum’s collection and in 2024 two of her pieces were included in a museum exhibition in Dortmund, Germany. In 2021, Jill took part in the Sky Portrait Artist TV series. Jill is an elected member of the Society of Graphic Fine Art. In this workshop Jill will cover what drawing materials you can use, including paper and why, as well as how to depict a body wearing clothes in proportion and accurately. This will include drawing the person as well as the clothes and how to draw different textures and draping, using line and shading to show a three-dimensional quality.
