Soraya French - Winter Landscape in Mixed Media

Soraya is a contemporary artist based in Hampshire, she works in all painting media but is particularly known for her expressive and colourful mixed media paintings. Use of vibrant colours, light and expressive textures are prominent features of her work. The ambiguity and evocative quality in her paintings leaves something for the viewer’s imagination. She has been the recipient of a number of prestigious art awards in the last few years and her work is held in many private and public collections both at home and abroad.

Soraya has published 6 art books commissioned by Harper Collins and Batsford and also a regular contributor to The Artist magazine. She is a director and former president of The Society of Women Artists and exhibits her work at their annual exhibition at the prestigious Mall Galleries in London.
